Who we are

Influence is a founder authority and reputation consulting firm operating from Superco, 6th Floor, Galaxy Blue Sapphire Plaza, Sector 4, Greater Noida West, Uttar Pradesh 201318, India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Influence acts as a Data Fiduciary in respect of personal data it determines the purpose and means of processing for. What personal data we collect

Data you give us directly through the enquiry form or by email, including your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, the nature of your enquiry and any information contained in your message. Data collected automatically when you use this website, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed and time spent. Data collected during an engagement, including contact details of your nominated personnel, materials you share for the purposes of the work, and correspondence. Publicly available professional information collected in the course of market research, including names, professional categories, market and language of activity, and publicly stated professional affiliations.

Why we process it

To respond to your enquiry and evaluate a possible engagement. To perform a contract with you and deliver the services agreed. To operate, secure and improve this website. To send you material you have specifically asked to receive. To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations. To establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Legal basis

Where we process personal data on the basis of consent, that consent is sought at the point of collection, is specific and informed, and may be withdrawn at any time by writing to hello@in-fluence.in. Where we process personal data for legitimate uses recognised under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including data voluntarily provided to us for a specified purpose and processing necessary to comply with law, we rely on those provisions.

The talent market map

This website publishes a market map of professionally active public figures in India, compiled from publicly available directories and indexes. Entries contain professional information only: name, professional category, market, language, primary professional hub, market tier and indicative commercial use. No contact details, no private information and no photographs of individuals are published. Any individual listed may request correction or removal by writing to hello@in-fluence.in, and requests are actioned within thirty days without requiring a reason to be given.

Sharing your data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with processors who host, secure or operate this website and our email systems, under contract and only as needed to provide those services. With professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants where necessary. With a client or counterparty where you have asked us to make an introduction. And with authorities where required by law or a valid legal process.

Cross border transfer

Some of our service providers store data outside India. Where personal data is transferred outside India, it is transferred only to countries not restricted by the Central Government under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and under contractual terms requiring comparable protection.

Retention

Enquiry data that does not lead to an engagement is retained for twenty four months and then deleted. Engagement records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for eight years afterwards, to meet contractual, tax and limitation requirements. Website analytics data is retained for twenty six months. Market map research data is retained while the record remains professionally current.

Security

We apply reasonable security safeguards including access control, encryption in transit, restricted administrative access and periodic review. No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a personal data breach we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals as required by law.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to access a summary of the personal data we process about you and the processing activities undertaken. The right to correction, completion, updating and erasure of your personal data. The right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity. The right to grievance redressal. To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@in-fluence.in. We respond within thirty days.

Grievance officer

Grievances relating to personal data should be addressed to the Grievance Officer at hello@in-fluence.in, marked for the attention of the Grievance Officer, or by post to the registered address above. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website and our services are directed at professional audiences and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly process the personal data of any individual under the age of eighteen. If you believe we hold such data, write to hello@in-fluence.in and it will be deleted.

Cookies

This website uses only what is strictly necessary to load and display pages, together with privacy-respecting analytics that do not build cross-site profiles. Where any non-essential cookie or similar technology is introduced, a consent banner will be presented before it is set, and you will be able to decline without losing access to the site.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page records the last revision. Material changes will be notified to active clients by email.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
