Social Responsibility

Reputation work carries influence over what the public hears. That comes with obligations, which we state rather than imply.

Truthfulness

Influence does not place, brief or amplify claims it knows to be false or materially misleading. Where a client wishes to make a claim we cannot substantiate, we say so and we do not run it. This applies equally to performance claims, sustainability claims and health claims.

Disclosure

Paid partnerships are disclosed. Every creator and influencer engagement run by Influence complies with the ASCI Guidelines for Influencer Advertising in Digital Media and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Disclosure is a condition of engagement, not a request.

Work we decline

We do not take mandates whose purpose is to suppress lawful reporting, to conceal information a regulator or the public is entitled to, to manufacture false grassroots support, or to attack individuals. We decline work that promotes gambling to minors, unsubstantiated health treatments, or discriminatory content.

Talent and consent

No individual is presented as a client, ambassador or represented talent without a signed agreement and written consent covering the use of their name and likeness. This is a hard rule and it is why our published roster grows slowly.

Pro bono

Influence commits a portion of annual capacity to organisations working in education access, arts and craft preservation, and athlete support outside cricket. Selection is made annually and the work is delivered to the same standard as paid mandates.

Artists and craft

Through Influence Productions the firm releases original work in Hindi, Bengali and Punjabi, paying independent musicians at commercial rates and leaving rights with the artist where the artist wants them.

Suppliers and freelancers

Freelancers and suppliers are paid within thirty days of invoice. We do not ask for speculative creative work without payment.

Environment

We run a small, largely digital operation. Travel is consolidated, event production briefs specify reusable build where possible, and we do not make environmental claims about our own operations that we cannot evidence.
